Dr Peter Georgius holds a double Fellowship in both Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Australian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine, the Royal Australian College of Physicians, and a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine, Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. After completing his Basic Surgical Training in Melbourne in 2002, he went on to achieve his Pain Fellowship in Tasmania in 2004. In 2007 he completed his Fellowship in Rehabilitation Medicine in Melbourne.
His scope of practice includes pain management and the rehabilitation of patients with complex conditions.
He has expertise in advanced pain management procedures including diagnostic blocks, radiofrequency neurotomies, dorsal column stimulators and peripheral nerve stimulators.
