Dr Kim Latendresse is an orthopaedic surgeon operating at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital and Nambour Selangor Private Hospital. He specialises in hand, wrist, and elbow conditions, and is recognised for his extensive expertise spanning over 20 years. He completed prestigious fellowships in hand and upper limb surgery in Canada and Australia and worked as a consultant at one of Canada’s major trauma hospitals before establishing his practice on the Sunshine Coast in 2006. He is one of only a few orthopaedic surgeons who holds the title of Fellow of both the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
 
His clinical practice focuses on hand and wrist traumatic and degenerative conditions, sports injuries, peripheral nerve compressions, and soft-tissue disorders. Where appropriate, his surgical approach incorporates minimally invasive techniques such as wrist arthroscopy and endoscopic carpal tunnel release.
