Accommodation

Nambour Selangor Private Hospital offers a mixture of private and shared rooms – all with ensuited bathroom facilities.

Whilst every effort is made to accommodate patients in private rooms, this may not be possible during periods of high occupancy. We will attempt to provide the type of accommodation you have requested, however ask for your understanding if this is not available.

Meals

At Nambour Selangor Private Hospital we place a high priority on meeting the nutritional and dietary needs of our patients. During your stay, you will enjoy nutritious, tasty meals prepared in our in-house kitchen.

A wide choice of meals incorporating fresh ingredients is planned by our specialist dietary staff. Should you have any specific dietary requirements, please inform nursing staff upon your admission to hospital. Our cooks and dietitian will be more than happy to design a menu to meet your needs.

Meals can also be ordered for children and their accompanying parent, or family members rooming in with patients, at a nominal cost.

Television

During your stay with us you will have access to a variety of radio, television and video entertainment channels. A selection of movies is screened each day.

Telephone

Patient telephones are located by the bedside. Calls can be made free of charge, though you will not be able to make international calls.

When you are admitted please ask our staff if mobiles can be used in your room. Mobiles may be used in all public areas including the coffee shop. Nambour Selangor Private Hospital does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your mobile phone.

Visiting Hours

Friends and relatives of patients in general hospital wards are welcome to visit anytime between the hours of 11am – 8pm.

The Rehabilitation Unit (Ralston Wing & Woodside Wing) visiting hours are from 3pm to 8pm.Visiting outside of these hours can only be arranged by appointment upon approval from the Nurse Unit Manager.
